A LARGE contingent of family members turned out to support new Austerlands mayor Tommy O’Brien at his installation.

There were also seven previous mayors backing Tommy, each one wearing a clog iron — the insignia of office.

The evening was hosted by the Red Lion, Austerlands, often considered to be the first and last pub within the true Yorkshire boundaries.
