Shaw tour is a success

Hornsea reached 53 for six in their second innings, but again Shaw finished on top as they scored 61 for five.
Organiser Nigel Sinclair said: “It was a great weekend, which the lads appreciated, and they showed themselves as good ambassadors of Shaw Cricket Club.”
The tour was subsidised by fundraising, a grant from Shaw Crompton Parish Council and donations from the players’ parents.
OLDHAM Schools under-15s went down by 75 runs to a strong Salford side in their opening Lancashire Schools’ Merit League game of the season.
