Lettings / Accounts Administrator
£18,000 - £20,000pa DOE
In partnership with our client who is a prestigious Residential Letting Agent we have a unique opportunity for an experienced Lettings / Accounts Administrator.
The role will predominantly be dealing with the accounts side of the business along with lettings administration.
Main duties will include:
Uploading of the daily bank statements
Posting rent receipts to tenants
Payments to landlords
Posting property expenses
Monitoring and chasing rent arrears
Management of the card payment system (if applicable)
Processing of Landlords' statements
Setting up bank details on systems
Weekly contractor payment run
Processing of monthly returns
Reconciling of all accounts
General accounts enquiries from clients
Contact with Councils/utility companies and their payments
Adhoc lettings administration work as required
Registering lettings candidates and new landlords
Dealing with repair and maintenance issues when required
The ideal candidate will need to have accounts experience and working experience in a lettings environment and will have excellent administrative and organisational skills.
Experience and knowledge of using a lettings software system is essential and experience of JUPIX
would be a distinct advantage.
