On behalf of our client we are looking to recruit an experienced Shipping Clerk.

Our client, a successful and market leading flow control manufacturer with a global network require an experienced Shipping clerk to take responsibility for arranging the collection of goods for despatch UK and worldwide, liaising with customers, sales dept, quality dept, technical, packing, Chamber of Commerce and transport companies.

Key skills and responsibilities

  • Maintaining appropriate records 
  • Day to day shipping and invoicing 
  • Import/Export documentation related to shipping 
  • Experience of computerised systems. Word, Excel, Sage line 100 etc
  • Experience in Shipping/Logistics environment 
  • Must work well independently and as part of a team 
  • Thorough and meticulous work ethic 
  • Ability to work fast & accurately 
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines 


 Hours of work are 8.30-4.30 Monday to Friday with 45 minutes lunch break.


In return the company offers a salary £16- £18K dependant on experience with further training available for import/export procedures.
