Oldham town centre will be packed with free fun activities for all of the family to enjoy this Easter, as Spring into Oldham returns on Saturday 24 March (11am-4pm). With opportunities to meet Mim-Mim, the star of CBeebies’ show Kate and Mim-Mim, and a petting farm - which includes real bunnies, chicks and a Jersey calf - it’s an event not to be missed.
Residents can join Mim-Mim in bunny hop activity sessions throughout the day (11am, 1pm and 3pm) and can also see a live showing of The World of Beatrix Potter (11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm).
There will be also be a Giant Easter Egg Hunt in Tommyfield Market Hall, and seasonal-themed arts and crafts activities. Send in your pictures from the day on Twitter to @OldhamCouncil with the hashtag #LoveOldham, and don’t forget if you’re looking for somewhere to park on the day, there is up to three hours free parking on all council-owned car parks at weekends – just remember you do need to get a ticket.
