An Oldham couple who are both highly experienced therapists have launched a Divorce Support Group to provide emotional support for people going through divorce or separation. Divorce Support Group gives men and women who are divorcing, separating or already divorced, an opportunity to talk in small support groups, or individual sessions, about the emotional impact of their separation. The Oldham Divorce Support Group, which is being held at The Relationship Centre in Saddleworth, will be facilitated by Neil Jordan and Pam Winter. Neil Jordan has 15 years’ experience working as a psychotherapist and group facilitator. He has a private psychotherapy practice in Saddleworth, near Oldham, where he works with individuals and couples. Pam Winter has more than 20 years’ experience working as a therapist, supervisor and group facilitator and specialises in couples and family work. Neil said: “We are both very pleased to be offering this much-needed support to men and women in the area. We are very aware and understand the psychological and emotional impact of separation and divorce and that people find it much easier to be fully open with others who are going through or have been through a similar process."
