Monaghan , aged 54, living in Soulinari, Kalamata. I moved
to Oldham in 1961 and lived within the borough until 2005 before
deciding along with my wife (Jean) that Greece was the place for
us. I lived at several locations within Oldham, but mostly around
the Werneth area. On the whole, I miss very little of the UK,
but from time to time I do hanker for my beloved Oldham Roughyeds,
and occasionally a pint at my local, The Smut Inn. As a child
I attended St. Marys Parish church junior school and later Clarksfield

on health grounds. Political campaigner and keen amateur musician
who sang in Manchester Cathedral Cantata Choir for 13 years having
started in the Oldham Youth Choir under Jimmy Wild many years
ago. Arrived in Crete with husband Michael in January, after ten

(Evans) Lever, aged 52, living in Stalis, Crete. Hi, I arrived
in Oldham the first time in the 60's and went to Crompton house
school in Shaw. My maiden name was Bolding then. I left in 69
only to return again in 75, and spent the next 25yrs living in
Royton. I belonged to Oldham/Royton harriers in the 80's, went
to Oldham college in the 90's have two sons Michael and David
Evans, all the family still live in the Oldham area. I DO NOT
miss meatpie and chips, but miss Asda, Matalan and Wilkinsons.
I have spent most of my life working in and around the Oldham
area, In 2003 my husband Graham and myself moved to Crete for

Hill Sec School, joined the Boys Brigade (2nd Oldham) 1964ish.
For my sins spent 30yrs working for Littlewoods Mail Order in
Hathershaw. In 2003 I moved to Stalis in Crete, Greece, Came back
for a visit in Jan 07 and headed for the chippy, meat/potato pie

39, went to Clarksfield Jnr and Breezehill Comp. Brother Craig.
Moved to Greece in 1992 after working at Courtaulds Manchester,
plc and then Stock Exchange Manchester. Would really love to hear
from my old school mates and friends to know wot they are doing
now. Get home maybe once every 2 years for quick visit. Miss steak
kidney pudding chips pie and gravy nearly every day!! Sad or whot.
