Transfer deadline day deals

Date published: 31 January 2012

MIDFIELDER Tom Adeyemi has had his stay at Boundary Park extended on deadline day.
The Norwich 20-year-old will now be cleared to play for Paul Dickov until March 10.
Meanwhile, Athletic striker Ryan Brooke has joined AFC Telford on a month's loan.
The 21-year-old had a spell at fellow Blue Square Bet Premier club Barrow earlier this season.

Some great business done by Latics on deadline day, what happened to fetching in a goal scoring striker???? can't believe that teams worse than us and teams in league 2 have done some great business, cheapskate Corney strikes again, wonder how he'll feel if we end up playing league 2 football next season with less than 2000 season ticket holders.

Really worried if we manage to avoid relegation this season this squad are not good enough for next. The only player I would renew the contract of is Dean Furman and lets see if he stays. Oh and hes not a PD signing which says it all.

Please give the budget to a manager with knowledge of tactics, contacts and experience. There are some good ones out of work. eg Dave Jones or Ian Dowie either would be great with Andy Ritchie as assistant.PD is far from good enough and is taking the club in a downward spiral.Sick of excuses, no vision and wasted opportunities.Panic and average signings with the exception of Simpson. We have a real relegation fight when you look at the signings made by the teams below us.

The above comments just about sum up how most fans feel. There will be the ever-optimistic ones but we, the fans, have to be realistic. It's not looking good and a failure to get (proven)decent players in this week is a real slap in the face for true supporters.

yawn yawn yawn!! so things don't go as everyone wanted and now its PDs fault, I think not!We are playing some really good football but not getting any luck as was seen against Chesterfield, the tide will turn, maybe it is time to give the likes of Matt Smith mellor and winchester a run in the side, Tarky has proved recently that we have some talent on the fringes of the first team if given a chance

peteg what planet are you on!! The manager uses the budget and makes the signings, 90 % of which are poor. He is also in charge of tactics, training and substitutions. The results don't lie and neither does the points and goals scored so a large part of it is PD fault. Head in the sand fans will watch this club in div2 then blue square in an empty dilapadated 3 sided stadium. If you don't perform in your job you lose it. Winners don't have excuses or blame luck because they don't need them.

A couple of disappointments and half the latics 'fans' start having tantrums! You have to be realists! We dont have any money so expecting a Rooney or Tevez to be snapped up in the trnsfr window was never likely. PD has done a decent job so far and for a club paying the lowest wages(allegedly)in our division I think its commendable that we can put the likes of Simpson, Kuci, Furman, Diamond, Cisak, Adeyemi, M'Voto, Tarkowski and Lee on the pitch at all! Of course, you could always follow City!

Realistic fans realise how bad things are at the club whilst 'blinkered fans' cannot see what's going on in front of their eyes. If they want the slide to continue then back Simon (I can't be bothered to be at such an important match) Corney and a manager (and I am sorry to say this) who has failed in a number of ways - including tactics and playing 'favourites' who seldom, if at all, have a decent game. We need realistic fans to show that what's happening at the club is unacceptable.
