Latics announce two further signings

Date published: 10 June 2014

ATHLETIC boss Lee Johnson has snapped up his second and third new signings
of the summer.

Midfielder Mike Jones has put pen to paper after agreeing a two-year deal.

The 26-year-old spent the last two seasons at Crawley Town, and before that was enjoyed spells with Sheffield Wednesday and Bury.

Brian Wilson (31) is a Manchester-born defender who rejected a new contract offer at Colchester at the end of last season.

He is a former Bristol City and Cheltenham Town player, and also links up at Boundary Park after penning a two-year deal.

Brian Wilson eh? I bet he gets around. I've got good vibrations about him also. Wouldn't that be nice? . All readers under 40 have no idea what I'm on about. Lol.

And if Korey Smith stays and Mike Jones plays alongside him in midfield, how many times do you think we'll see the headline 'Alas Smith & Jones' :-)

God only knows Daz

Nice work re the Beach Boys daz 13.We seem to be collecting our own Wilson clan here who must be brothers having both been at Cheltenham and Bristol City before joining us.We only need one more Wilson to make a new band.

Let's just hope he's better on the grass than on the beach.
Harmonies times ahead we hope!
WE could be chart climbers with these additions, wouldn't that be nice

NICE ONE DAZ LETS HOPE WERE ARE SURFIN BOUNDARY PARK.LOL

Yeah daz, it will be fun fun fun with him and ten little indians in the team, hoping he will be a hero rather than a villan.
