GENSERIC Kusunga might be encouraged by his manager Lee Johnson to have a pair of stinkers before he heads out to play for Angola in their next pair of Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Kusunga’s nation are currently bottom of Group ‘C’, having lost their opening matches to Gabon and Burkina Faso.

Next they face a Lesotho team who had to battle past two extra rounds of qualifying simply to get into the group. Angola are in Maseru for the away leg on Friday, October 10, and then at home in Luanda for the return on Wednesday, October 15.

Failure to win at least one of the matches would see their hopes of making the top two and a place in the finals evaporate.

But that would leave Kusunga, now a regular starter for Angola, available to Johnson for the duration of the tournament from January 17-February 8.
