Team’s resolve delights Johnson

ATHLETIC boss Lee Johnson praised his side after their victory over Walsall lifted them to eighth place in the lague.
Athletic are level on points with Chesterfield - the team they face on Saturday - in the final play-off position
Johnson said: “We’ve just got to continue doing what we’re doing. There's a big team spirit in the camp, and that’s important because though you can give players all the coaching in the world, you can’t make them really dig in, in situations like we faced on Saturday.”
Athletic now face a free midweek before the latest huge away test against the Spireites at the weekend.
Johnson could clearly use a bit of downtime, adding: “I’ll certainly be glad of a bit of a rest, and we’ll take some time to decide what we’re going to do with our free week. I think it’s time to give everybody today off, for sure.”
