ATHLETIC have swooped to land goalkeeper Jake Kean on loan from Blackburn until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old, who has had previous loan spells with Hartlepool, Rochdale and Yeovil, will step straight into the side as Lee Johnson’s men aim to land three points against Notts County tomorrow.
Kean, who stands at 6ft4in, joined Rovers from Derby in 2009 and made his debut for the club in a 2-1 defeat at Chelsea.
The England under-20 international has made a total of six appearances this season, one for Blackburn and five during a loan spell at Yeovil which ended in October.
