Darren Kelly: untroubled by speculation
ROOKIE manager Darren Kelly has shrugged off speculation about his future at SportsDirect.com Park.
A weekend report in a national newspaper suggested Kelly’s position is under threat, but he has come out fighting.
“It doesn’t bother me,” he said of the article. “Football is football. At the end of the day it’s a results business and if you get positive results - which I’m very confident of doing - then that’s fine.
“I’m not going into the negativity of the papers and things that are being written. Papers have to sell and headlines have to be made, and that’s football in general.
“I’m in a job I absolutely love and I work my socks off to make sure everything is right for us. That’s all I can do. I hope then that everything looks after itself.”
