Watch the shrimpers match for only a fiver

A FIVER for the Southend game . . . that’s the special price being offered to supporters who buy tickets in advance.

Three home matches in the space of seven days have spurred Athletic to slash prices for the visit of the Shrimpers on Tuesday, November 24.

But to take advantage of the offer, tickets MUST be purchased in advance through the eTicket website or by calling 0161 7855150.

The deadline for these cut-price tickets is 5pm on Monday, November 23. Prices until then are set at £5 adults, £2 concessions and £1 under-16s.

“We appreciate this is an expensive time of year for all supporters and we hope this initiative will enable as many supporters as possible to join us,” said Athletic’s commercial director Mark Moisley.

“We are asking fans to purchase in advance for this game as this is the start of a long-term drive to encourage more supporters to buy online.”

ATHLETIC are also selling part-season tickets in the build-up to Christmas.

Starting with the final home game of the year against Doncaster on Monday, December 28, offers are available for the club’s final dozen matches.

Prices are from £175 adults, £99 concessions and £30 under-16s.
