The Failsworth Townswomen’s Guild is having its first meeting of the year tonight at 7.30pm at the Failsworth Lifelong Learning Centre.

For more information contact 0161-770 5800.

The WOW Prospects group, at the Roman Road IM Church, is back after the Christmas break. This session is for people with complex needs and their carers. Activities include crafts and dance. The meeting takes place in the Church Hall on Wednesday from 1.30-3.30pm. Admission is £2 for service users and 50p for carers.

IF you are aged 13-16 and have a pound to spare, join the Salvation Army youth club on Friday for a chance to meet new friends and have fun from 7.30-9.30pm. For more information, call Lynley Oliver on 0161-682 0070.

DON’T let a lack of mobility put you off from having fun. Charles Morris House, off Ashton Road East, hosts Zumba Gold sessions every Monday for the elderly and those with limited mobility. Call 07912 467 061.

HELP and advice are available to residents at the Failsworth Library next Tuesday. The Citizens Advice Bureau is offering to help people with legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice. The drop in session runs 9.30am-12.30pm.

CHECK if you and your baby are well and receive professional advice at the ante-natal clinic tomorrow at Propps Hall School, Failsworth, from 9am-12.30pm. Appointments are essential and can be made by calling 0161-770 8398.
