Bring your history to life

ANYONE in possession of an interesting historical artefact can share it with Failsworth Historical Society tomorrow for a fun, social evening with like-minded people from 7pm at Broadbent Luncheon Club on Lord Lane.

COME along to the Sea Cadets Unit on Oldham Road where visitors can make a candle, knit, sew, crochet, or simply do their own thing with Failsworth and Beyond Women’s Institute. DADS can keep their pre-school children occupied with games and crafts on Saturday at the Roman Road IM Church from 10.30am.

IT’S all aboard the mobile youth bus on Tuesday from 1pm outside New Bridge School, where there will be computer consoles, arts and crafts and topical workshops.
