THE Failsworth Historical Society is holding a strawberries and cream evening tomorrow from 7pm in the Pavilion at Woodhouses Cricket Club, in Medlock Road.

GET some gardening tips and ideas at the Daisy Nook Garden Centre tomorrow. The gardening groups meet in the community room on the first Wednesday of every month at 10am to talk about all aspects of gardening — with a free cuppa too. For more information call 0161-681 4245.


PEOPLE with complex needs and their carers can take part in a range of activities at the Roman Road IM Church tomorrow. Activities such as crafts, dance are held each week in the church hall, from 1.30-3.30pm. Admission is £2 for service users and 50p for carers.
