Raider jailed for 10 years

A BURGLAR who carried out 140 raids and stole £250,000 in Cheshire has been jailed for 10 years.
Daryl Kennedy, from Salford, stole from homes in Wilmslow, Hale Barns and Poynton while the owners were out and hired three drivers to take him to the suburbs, where he targeted homes close to busy roads.
Driver Winston Bell (56) of Mitchells Quay, Failsworth, was sentenced to four years in prison while another driver, Ajaz Ahmed (46) of Drake Street, Rochdale, was sentenced to three years.
All three pleaded guilty to conspiracy to burgle dwelling houses at an earlier court hearing.
