THE 3rd Oldham brownies are having their 60th anniversary and reunion get-together on Saturday at Hollins Methodist Church, Millgate from 2-5pm.

The Salvation Army has launched its annual appeal. They will be delivering envelopes to houses in Failsworth, and returning to collect them. As bogus callers remain a big problem, they are urging people to inform vulnerable or elderly residents. The volunteers will display full ID.
FAILSWORTH West residents can put forward any questions they may have to Councillor Elaine Garry at a ward surgery on Thursday at the Failsworth Town Hall from 6-7pm. Councillor Watten Bates will be available to speak to on Saturday from 10-11am at Failsworth Town Hall.
Daisy Nook Garden Centre is holding a new dog-themed flower show, which will feature 30 plus displayson Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm and Sunday 10.30am-4.30pm.
