Ward surgeries

COUNCILLOR Sean Fielding’s ward surgery takes place tonight at the Holy Family Church, on Lord Lane, from 6-7pm.

Councillors Briggs, McMahon and Dawson will also be hosting their ward surgery at the Failsworth Town Hall from 10-11am on Saturday.


Higher Failsworth Primary School is having an open day tomorrow. Past pupils, parents and staff are welcome to visit the school, on Stansfield Road. Time slots are 9-11am, 1.30-3pm and 4-7pm. Call 0161-681 2645 for more information.


THE Daisy Nook Garden Centre raised £2,529.29 for the Guide Dogs charity at its recent “blooming dogs” floral display. The centre will now be able to name a puppy that will be trained to become a guide dog.
