FEELING stressed, or struggling with anxiety or depression?

OLDHAM Community Choir will be performing at St John’s Church on Friday from 7.30pm. Tickets, available on the door, cost £3 which includes refreshments.


THERE will be a disco, games, raffle and much more at a Halloween fancy-dress fund-raiser on Friday at the Church of the Holy Family, from 5-10pm. Tickets, priced £5, include hot food. For more information contact John on 07912-011 645.

JOIN the Oldham rep theatre company on Saturday in their adventure to solve the mystery of “The Snatchabook”. Written by Helen and Thomas Docherty, it is a story about a small, magical creature who just wants someone to read to him. The workshop takes takes place at Failsworth Library from 11am until noon.


MARSHALS are wanted for the Remembrance Day parade on Sunday, November 9. The parade will assemble at Failsworth Health Centre at 10.15am, proceeding to the War Memorial at 10.30am. Those interested can contact Failsworth Town Hall on 0161-770 4083.
