Santa visit

SANTA is dropping in to the St John’s Church Christmas fair on Saturday from 11.30am.

There will be lots of stalls, a cafe and entertainment from St John’s School choir.

HELP the Hollinwood Together team to come up with fund-raising ideas for 2015 on Thursday. The group will meet at The Avenues and Hollins Community Centre from 6-7pm. All are welcome.


COLLECT a few bargains at the Woodhouses Church fair on Saturday from 2-4pm. There will be a homebake, crafts, tombola and much more.


HELP yourself to home-made treats at Roman Road IM Church Christmas coffee morning on Tuesday, November 18, from 10am-noon. Entrance is £1.


FAILSWORTH residents can speak with Councillor Sean Fielding, who will be available on Saturday from 10-11am at Failsworth Town Hall, and again on Tuesday, November 18, at the Church of the Holy Family from 6-7pm. Hollinwood residents can raise any concerns they may have with councillors Stretton, Williams and Ames on Friday from 6-7pm at St Chads Centre in Limehurst.
