Volunteer plea

RAINBOWS, brownies and girl guides are looking for volunteers to help out. An open evening takes place tonight at Failsworth School, on Brierley Avenue, from 6.30pm.


DONATE blood at Holy Family Church, Lord Lane, on Friday from 1.15 to 3.30pm and 5.15 to 7.30pm.


POLICE are urging motorists to be vigilant after a sat nav and some tools were stolen from a car on Lord Lane last Wednesday.


CHILDREN are invited to enjoy bedtime tales from storyteller Rogan Mills between 6 and 7pm tomorrow at Failsworth Library. A light supper will be provided.
