EASTER surprise . . . (from left) Brodie Blackhurst with Jamie Nicholson and his daughter Maya.
CHILDREN at Ronald McDonald House in Manchester were surprised when the Easter bunny hopped in to deliver chocolate treats over the weekend.
The visit was organised by Failsworth mum Gemma Blackhurst and her 12-year-old daughter Brodie, who wanted to help the charity. The house provides free “home from home” accommodation for families whose children are being treated at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and the St Mary’s neonatal unit.
The bunny delivered chocolate eggs, which had been donated by members of the public, for families staying at the house over Easter.
