£15 robber hit by car as he ran off

POLICE are searching for a man who stole £15 from a Failsworth hairdressers and was hit by a car as he fled.
The man, his face covered by a scarf, demanded money from staff at Room 35 Hair and Beauty on Friday morning. He was given around £15 and as he ran from the Lord Lane shop was hit by a small blue car.
He carried on running and changed behind shops in Propps Hall Drive, then was lost.
A hunt was launched with armed officers, dog units and the police helicopter to search for him.
