A NEW volunteer is needed to help out with the 1st Failsworth Rainbows team. Meetings take place Tuesday evenings and training and support will be provided.

Anyone interested can send a message to the Failsworth Carnival Facebook page. Also van with a driver is needed to transport Santa Claus around Failsworth in December. Contact also via the Failsworth Carnival page.


TWO men were arrested for separate incidents of assault last Tuesday. A 22-year-old was arrested on Hardman Lane, Failsworth, while a 41-year-old was arrested for assault and criminal damage on Lime Green Road, Limehurst.

NUMBER one bestseller “Giraffes Can’t Dance” will be the flavour of the month at next Monday’s baby book club. The session, for babies aged six months and over, takes place at Failsworth Children’s Centre, Props Hall Drive, from 2pm.
