THERE will be no sessions at the Arts Hub, on Ashton Road, this week. Classes will resume in the new year.
ST Margaret’s School is holding its annual Christingle Service in aid of the Children’s Society at St Margaret’s Church on Chapel Road tonight from 6.30pm. Youngsters receive an orange with a lighted candle and walk through the darkened church during carols.
BRASS players are required for a special Christmas Eve service at St John’s Church in Failsworth from 4-5pm. If you can help, email failsworthperformingarts@yahoo.co.uk
ENJOY a hearty community breakfast from 10am tomorrow at Dunamis Christian Church, in Thorley Street, for £2. If that doesn’t fill you up, treat yourself to mince pies and drinks while listening to the church’s carol service on Sunday from 6.30pm.
HELP is at hand for job applications and interview tips at Hollinwood Work Club. The session takes place on Thursday from 1-3pm at Limehurst Library.
THE Impact community project runs a food share session every Monday, from 9.30am. Anyone is welcome to pop in to the Old Bank, on Manchester Road, for a brew and chat, and go home with a bag of shopping. Meanwhile, on Thursday, meet new friends over a cuppa at the hub coffee morning from 9.30am.
TAKE your first steps to using computers and the internet at Failsworth Library’s free basic short course. Sessions take place on Thursday from 10am. You will learn how to send emails, search for information and stay safe online.
