DISCUSS any neighbourhood concerns with your local police officers tomorrow at School House Flats, off Incline Road, 9.30-10.30am and on Friday at Failsworth Town Hall, 10am-noon.



HELP is at hand for new mums at a breastfeeding support group from 1pm tomorrow at Failsworth Children’s Centre. On Monday there will be a drop-in session for parents and carers, from 1.30pm. There will be support on behaviour management, sleep routines, toilet training, play and home safety.


ENJOY a bedtime tale from storyteller Rogan Mills on Tuesday, March 1, at Failsworth Library, 6-7pm. Don’t forget your favourite cuddly toy.

GET out in the fresh air and improve your overall health with Age UK Oldham’s walking group on Thursday. The walks are more strenuous than a stroll and vary in length. Anyone interested should meet at the visitor centre in Daisy Nook Country Park, for the walk to set off at 1pm. For further details call 0161-622 9267.


LISTEN to great classical music at St Margaret’s Church on Saturday, when the Manchester Recorder Orchestra comes to town. The concert, which starts at 7.30pm, is in aid of the Chapel Road church’s organ fund. For more information on tickets call 0161-6814541.


SUPPORT is available at Hope Methodist Church on Oldham Road to help raise awareness of dementia. The drop-in session takes place from 10am on Friday and is free for anyone wanting more information.
