PLANS to turn abandoned land in Limehurst Village into football pitches will go before Oldham Council’s planning committee tomorrow.

The proposal is to build three sports pitches, a clubhouse, car park and fencing at fields behind Higher Lime Road.

MEET your favourite cartoon characters at an Easter party this Saturday at the Little Rascals and Cheeky Monkeys centre in Partington Street, from 12-2pm. There will be party food, cake/biscuit decoration and Easter crafts. Tickets are £8 —and can be bought on the day — with adults with babies going in for free.
