Man admits pensioner assault

A MAN has admitted assaulting a 70-year-old who asked him to stop urinating in the street.
Derek Laidlaw was attacked after confronting the 46-year-old near his partner's house in Failsworth at about 10.45pm on July 2.
Mr Laidlaw suffered severe bruising to his face and head during the attack.
Stephen Anthony Glynn, of Massey Avenue, Failsworth, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm at Tameside Magistrates' Court on Monday.
He was granted conditional bail and will be sentenced at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court on August 8.
