Date published: 01 December 2015

THERE’S an exciting new band in Oldham — Shadow Palace.

A four-strong alternative rock outfit, Shadow Palace are made up of members from both The Velocetas and The Frakes — Harry Lavin, Ben Warwick, Dan Gaunt and Danny Walsh.

Although The Velocetas and The Frakes still haven’t officially disbanded, Shadow Palace are already making big plans for 2016 and made their debut last weekend when supporting Royton mod favourites 5ft Fez.

Numerous Manchester gigs are already in the diary for January through to March, next year, while there are also plans to record a single imminently.

“This will be the real deal,” said Shadow Palace frontman Harry Lavin.
