MUSIC EXTRA: Irish favourites Parcel O’Rogues are to rock Oldham St Anne’s Rugby Club on Friday.

It promises to be an already sold-out party of all parties at St Anne’s as the seven-strong outfit celebrate their 10-year anniversary, supported by Lyrical Mindz and a troupe of traditional Irish dancers.

ANOTHER awesome weekend of live music beckons at Whittles on King Street. Friday sees cover specialists Traitor’s Gate play the popular venue, before a real treat for mods and rockers of all ages on Saturday.

THE next “mEssy” club night at Jackson’s Pit takes place on Saturday, March 26. As well as the usual DJs mashing up sounds from across the past five decades, acoustic hopeful Kaden Nolan and young guitar outfit Cleargreen will play live. Entry on the night costs £3 before 11pm and £5 after.
