We knew it would be tough — Naylor

SCOTT Naylor said he always believed Skolars would offer Roughyeds one of their toughest games of the season — and they didn’t disappoint him.
“Once we slipped behind at 18-22 in the second half we summoned up the energy and the passion to come back brilliantly,” said the Oldham boss.
“Without any doubt at all, that was down to our fitness, mental toughness and insatiable desire to win the game. Those qualities got us home.
“We are a young side, as I keep stressing, and we were a bit edgy beforehand, knowing we had to be at our best for the 80.
“I think our nervousness was evident in the number of mistakes we made with the ball in the early stages, although we generally defended well throughout.
“London had enough quality to take advantage and they made us pay.
“Despite everything it was our third win in a row and our fourth in five and it was pleasing to see us scoring points and tries.
“It was the third consecutive game in which we have scored 30 or more points.”
