OLDHAM'S fourth-round Tetley's Challenge Cup tie at Bradford Bulls will be played at the Provident Stadium, Odsal, on April 6 - kick-off at 2pm.

Clubs have the option of playing ties on the Friday, Saturday or Sunday of that weekend, and those choosing Sunday can't start later than 2pm because of a likely clash with the fifth-round raw later that afternoon.

"We don't yet have admission prices and other match details, but we hope to get that information within the next 24 hours," said Oldham chairman Chris Hamilton.

He was "more than happy" to go to Bradford for a tie which has the potential to be a moneymaker while providing Oldham players with the chance to test themselves against Super League opponents.

He said: "Bulls have a huge Challenge Cup history, and Scott Naylor will be going back to the club where he spent most of his playing career. He was made up when I told him who we had drawn.

"We should get a decent crowd. I'm sure it's the sort of tie that will appeal to Oldham supporters."

Oldham boss Naylor, a tough centre in his playing days, scored 51 tries in 128 Super League appearances for the Bulls between 1999 and 2003.

"The tie will bring back great memories," said Naylor. “It will be nice to meet up again with old friends and people I’ve not seen for years.

“But this isn’t about me. It’s about the Oldham players and the Challenge Cup and the opportunity they will get to go up against quality players from Super League. We will give a good account of ourselves.”
