Oldham RL 16, Featherstone Rovers 14
OLDHAM RL scored three tries in securing a fourth victory of the season in the Kingstone Press Championship.
It was the perfect response to last weekend's disappointing loss at Whitehaven, which saw Scott Naylor's men slip to second-from-bottom in the table.
Kenny Hughes, Jack Holmes and Liam Johnson went in for the Roughyeds, who led 6-0 at half-time. Lewis Palfrey kicked three goals.
Ian Hardman and Misi Taulapapa touched down for Featherstone, while Jamie Foster landed three goals for the mid-table visitors to Bower Fold.
The win moved Oldham up one place to 10th and within touching distance of Sheffield Eagles, Swinton Lions and Dewsbury Rams.
