GOING FOR THE LINE . . . Saddleworth's Josh Fitzgerald is in full flight
THE annual School Year Nine nine-a-side rugby league festival took place at Waterhead Academy's Counthill site, and the team from Saddleworth emerged victorious.
They defeated their Failsworth counterparts in the final, by four tries to nil.
Blue Coat finished in third place in the competition, while Royton and Crompton were fourth.
Today was set to see the Year Eights do battle in the same tournament at the same venue.
