FAILSWORTH School hosted the action-packed Oldham Primary Schools' dodgeball finals.
Teams had qualified via heats at Royton and Crompton and Failsworth.
They were Hodge Clough Year Sixes, Mayfield, Horton Mill, Hodge Clough Year Fives, Delph, Yew Tree and Alexandra Park.
The seven team finalists competed in a round robin tournament, each playing a fixture against each other.
Points were awarded for gaining a majority score in a best of three, two-minute matches.
The games were highly-competitive and often fierce, only being won by the narrowest of margins.
LEAGUE TABLE
Similarly, the final league table showed just how close the competition was.
After each team had completed their six fixtures, the top two could only be separated on their head-to-head result.
This saw Mayfield edge out the Hodge Clough Year Six team after they had beaten them 2-1 early in the day.
Alexandra Park's team finished third.
Oldham's School Sport Partnership thanked Royton and Crompton and Failsworth School for hosting heats and the finals, as well as providing school sports leaders to help officiate and run the events.
