North Bury League

CHADDERTON Park under-9s clinched both titles in their first season in the North Bury League.

The Eagles beat Bury Amateurs 11-0 in midweek to set up a crucial clash with second-placed Littleborough, who were unbeaten in 2009.

Chadderton secured the title with a 5-0 success thanks to goals from Milo Garratt-Simpson (2), Jimmy Greaves, George Whiteside-Burns and Lucas Kavanagh.

They have the chance of a league and cup double when they play Roach in the cup final on May 16.

Chadderton Park Lions had already secured their league title, making it a clean sweep for the under-9s.

CHADDY Hoppers under-12s Red were beaten 4-2 on penalties by Farnworth Wildcat in the cup final.

Goals from Josh O’Donnel and Bradley Dalloway put Hoppers ahead but they couldn’t find the killer goal as Farnworth hit back to force extra time and the spot-kick shootout.

In the league, Hoppers under-12 Blue won 5-1 at Bridge Colts thanks to goals from Dan Ratcliff (2), Reece Howcroft, Gilly Clarke and Dan Randle.

And they followed up by beating Bury Amateurs 3-2, with Sam Hall netting his first of the season and the others coming from Reece Howcroft and Dan Ratcliff.

Hoppers under-11s were undone by a late goal as they lost a thrilling derby with Chaddy Park 1-0.

At under-13s, two Hoppers teams went head to head, the Reds winning 3-1 to secure promotion. Martin Kenny, Stephen Wharmby and James Lord scored for the Reds, with Luke Adshead replying for the Blues.

Tameside Sunday League

DESPITE goals from Luke Cosgrove, Laurie England and Jake Kershaw, Uppermill under-14s went down 5-3 to AFC Clayton.

A goal from Chris Batters helped Chaddy End under-14s earn a point in a 1-1 draw with Hattersley.

Rochale & Oldham Youth League

CHAMPIONS Springhead under-13s continued their dominance by crushing Rochdale St Clements 7-2, with Jordan Mortimer scoring twice in the opening five minutes.

Jordan Broadbent added a third and, although Rochdale hit back twice, Springhead soon pulled clear as Kyle Moore and Josh Jones both scored from Joe Hall corners.

Kaimmen Morris and a 30-yard cracker from Cameron Rawley completed the tally for Springhead who went on to battle out a 3-3 draw with Copperpot.

Two goals down inside 15 minutes, Springhead hit back through Jordan Mortimer and Jordan Broadbent before Josh Jones fired them ahead with a splendid free kick.

However, Copperpot - still with an outside chance of finishing runners-up - grabbed a deflected equaliser in the dying moments.

Springhead take on Chadderton Juniors in the cup semi-finals this Friday at Clayton Playing Fields (6.30).

In the under-12s division, Chadderton Park Juniors, with Bradley Humphreys (2), Liam Eadsforth and James Tulley on target, defeated Park Bridge Celtic 4-0.

CHADDY End under-12s won 4-1 at Alkrington Dynamos with goals from Callum Buckley, Sam Haran, Tom Maloney and Charlie Burton.

The under 14s romped to a 9-1 success over Chaddy Rangers, Matty Singleton leading the way with a hat-trick. Also on target were Josh Brown (2), Anthony Lally, Robert Barber and Jaydn Knox.

In the league cup semi-final, goals from Singleton, Brown and Callum Mazynczenko guided under-14s to a 3-2 win over Northside.

Aidan Ball’s hat-trick helped the under-15s to a 5-1 win over Shawclough, Curtis Ingham and Josh Horrit also netting.

Manchester Mini-Soccer

Oldham Girls League

FOUR goals from Faye Hardicre and a hat-trick from Bethany Ormrod gave ROCS FC under-16s a 7-0 victory over Uppemill.

However, they had to battle harder for a 4-0 win over a strong Droylsden side, Sarah Ryan (2), Hardicre and Brittany Birtles getting the goals.

Lauren Steel also bagged a treble as the under-14s defeated Uppermill 7-0. Fern Madeley (2), Megan Jackson and Georgia Nutter completed the tally.

UPPERMILL Rockettes under-13s made progress in the league cup, fighting back from two-nil down to beat Curzon Ashton 9-4.
