FOOTBALL: HEYSIDE Juniors under-11s completed the treble by seeing off Denton Youth 3-1 in the Tameside and District League Cup final.
Conor Henley, Ryan Scholes and Adam Boardman scored the goals.
Greater Manchester Schools’ League
OLDHAM under-14s beat Wigan 1-0 in the penultimate game of the Greater Manchester Schools’ League campaign.
Billy Burgess (Radclyffe) scored the goal in the 50th minute.

UNDER-NINES: Boundary Park Juniors 3 (Jake Mitchell two, Adam Knott), Midway 2 (Kyle Brooks, Zion Dawson); Boundary Park Juniors 5 (Knott, Jacob Roberts, Nathan Phelan, William Maloney, Louie Fielding), Heyside Juniors ‘A’ 1; Boundary Park Juniors 3 (Daniel Harkins two, Luke Smith); Midway 5 (Aran Ward two, Kamrul Hussain, Brooks, Dawson).
ROCS under 16s and 15s went head-to-head in the North Manchester Girls’ League Cup final.
The older girls edged it 3-2 thanks to goals from Faye Hardicre, Amy Ginty and Megan Jackson.
Lauren Steel and Rhema Mears found the net for the under-15s.
HEYSIDE Angels Blues under-14s won the League Cup final 4-3 against Uppermill.
Kayleigh Larkin helped herself to a hat-trick, while Paige Rowland also found the net.
Heyside Angels under-12s battled hard but lost 1-0 to Manchester City in the Urmston Meadowside sCup final.
