Crompton House in a field of dreams

CROMPTON House school was the dominant force at the field events of the Oldham Schools’ Athletics Championships at Radclyffe school.

In the girls’ events, Crompton House made it a hat-trick: top in the Year Seven, Eight and Nine age groups; while Blue Coat’s Year 10s pushed them into second place.

Blue Coat’s Year Sevens also won silver medals, while Newman College’s girls took silver in the Year Seven and Year Nine age groups.

Two of Crompton House’s age groups – Year Eight and Year 10 – emerged victorious in the boys’ events, while Royton and Crompton’s Year Sevens were the tops.

The Year Nines saw three schools share top billing – Radclyffe, Failsworth and Crompton House.
