MAJOR prizes: Lorna-Jo Holt
FOOTBALL: CHADDERTON Park’s under-15s team attended the North Manchester Girls’ League presentation night and Lorna-Jo Holt was not only named player of the season, she also winner of the Steve Lynch Memorial Trophy, seeing off competition from players from 78 other teams in the league.
The team also won the league’s fair play award.
The evening also saw Uppermill’s Nicole Thorp win the under-14s player of the season award and the league’s top scorer prize.
