Football-mad Jude’s operation success

KICKING on . . . Jude Liversage
A FOOTBALL MAD seven year old who travels from Stoke-on-Trent to play with Chaddy Park FC every other weekend has had a life-changing operation.
Jude Liversage relishes his sessions with the club’s cerebral palsy squad — one of only a handful in the UK. He has now had surgery to ease symptoms of his condition and help him walk unaided.
The operation - to cut nerves to allow the legs to move more naturally - isn’t routinely available on the NHS, which forced Jude’s parents Tony and Kelly to raise the £35,000 bill themselves.
