School serves story of Simon’s success

IT was back to school for Chadderton’s “Masterchef” champion Simon Wood when he was the guest speaker at Oasis Academy Oldham’s annual awards ceremony.
More than 70 pupils were recognised for the outstanding progress they have made as well as their excellent attendance, sporting performances and contribution to the school.
Simon, who won the BBC’s amateur cooking contest this year, spoke about his road to lifting the title.
