In-form Crown keep pressure on leaders

CARL Beamish's terrific hat-trick helped his Crown side ease to a 4-0 victory at Westwood in the Oldham Sunday League Jack Abbott Premier Division.

Gary Chadderton also netted as Crown keep pace with leaders Fitton Hill.

They recorded a 7-2 victory at home against Coppice. Kane Radcliffe (three), Callum Franklin (two), Aaron Murdoch and Lee Mullin scored for Fitton Hill, while Yasser Farooq and Naved Butt replied.

CASIM of Manchester enjoyed a fine 6-0 win at Springhead Libs.

On the mark were Steve Odebeatu (three), Jamie Matthews (two) and Guidi Hamido Pestana.

Carrion Crow triumphed 4-3 at Oldham GPO courtesy of goals from Jamie Quinlan, Scott Edge, Wayne O'Connell and Scott Dunthorne.

Michael Wood, Jack Hogg and Neil Walsh replied for the posties.

High Crompton Victoria are up to second place in David Giblin Division One following a thrilling 6-5 home win against Britannia.

Kevin Wylie (two), John Ryder (two), Jack Radcliffe and Anthony Jones netted for Vics, while Aden Turner (three) and James Dwyer (two) replied for the Brit.

Danny Hitchens bagged a hat-trick as Royton Athletic won 6-1 at Gardeners.

Paul Mullen, Liam Siddall and Paul Badby also struck.

Oddies 14 defeated Church 5-1 thanks to Mike Casson (three), Kieron Holt and Dylan Melvin.

In the Manchester Sunday Shield, Leon Melia scored for Limeside King George in a 3-1 defeat at Middleton Colts.
