DELPH march on at the top of the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership after they cruised to victory at home against Golcar yesterday.

The visitors took first knock and were bowled out for 178.

Arron Lilley (pictured) and Shakir Muhammad took three wickets apiece.

Delph lost just one wicket in their reply. Nathan Jones scored 41.

Mosun Hussain scored 107 not out from 92 balls, while number three Shreevats Goswami remained unbeaten on 24.

Delph's scheduled Saturday game against Armitage Bridge and Woodhouses' home fixture against Stretford in the Greater Manchester League were both washed out.
