Delph suffer mixed fortunes

DELPH secured a huge victory and an experienced a hugely disappointing defeat during a weekend of mixed emotions in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership.
Yesterday Andrew Gleave's men - the reigning champions - were deservedly beaten by six wickets at struggling Golcar.
Taking first knock, Delph were dismissed for 148. Arron Lilley top-scored with 50.
Golcar comfortably reached their victory target inside 40 overs.
On Saturday, Delph hammered Kirkburton at their Manchester Road base.
Lancashire all-rounder Lilley crashed a brilliant 179 as the hosts amassed a mammoth 378 for seven, batting first. Mosun Hussain added 81.
In reply, Kirkburton were bowled out for 165 as Lilley's Red Rose Luke Procter took an impressive four wickets for 43 runs.
