Waterloo clinch team prize

“CARPET” specialists Waterloo and Taunton swept up another big prize at Chadderton Cot on Sunday.

The ‘A’ Division title winners made light of the concession of 18 chalks start to Springhead in the final of the Carling Team Knock-out on the artificial surface.

Ashley Madden (21-10), Anthony Walker (21-10) and Lee Turner (21-13) did most of the damage as Waterloo added the cup to their league success.
