Boxing: IT is now two wins from two professional fights for Delph welterweight prospect Andy Kremner.
The 21-year-old John Murray-trained battler took on tough journeyman Matt Seawright at Bowlers in Trafford Park and won in two of the scheduled four rounds.
Kremner downed his Tamworth opponent with a cracking combination to the head towards the end of the second round, and once a severe-looking cut opened up on Seawright’s left eyebrow, referee Steve Gray halted the contest.
A delighted Kremner said: “It was a spot-on display. Seawright doesn’t get stopped very often, so it was a great result for me.
“I’m dead chuffed. I wasn’t great in my first fight, but I turned that around on Saturday.”
Kremner hopes to be back in ring action within the next two months.
