GO FOR IT: Royton’s Liam Mason.
THERE will be no local representation in the semi-finals of the Wood Cup.
Oldham bowed out at Norden and Royton followed suit at home to Littleborough.
Taking first guard, Royton made 179 thanks to 53 from pro Pieter Malan and 42 from Alan Durose. Chris Schofield took three for 29.
And the former Lancashire star guided the Hare Hill club to victory with an unbeaten 62 as Boro cruised to 180 for three. He was given fine support by paid man Clinton Perren, who made 43, and Tom Pye with the same score.
Elsewhere, Heywood won at Monton and Weaste, and Unsworth narrowly beat Milnrow
