A five-metre pole, chopped worm and caster did the damage as he tipped the scales at 17lb.

Steve Baines (Tight Lines) took second with a level 8lb of roach and skimmers.

GRAHAM Mallinson took first place in the latest of the Todmorden Tuesday matches on an impressive Croft Fishery.

Fishing pole and meat, Mallinson netted plenty of decent carp to weigh-in 34lb 11oz, beating Adam Kitson into second with a 33lb 1oz catch of carp.
